Is the preview really free?
Yes. We build a real preview of your website and send you the link. You pay nothing unless you love it and say yes by e-mail. No calls, no pitch.
Do I really own the website?
Yes. You buy your domain in your own name (we'll show you how, it takes a few minutes and costs about $12 to $20 a year) and we connect it for you. The website is yours once it's delivered.
Why is it cheaper than an agency?
We specialize in local businesses, so we don't start from a blank page. We don't do sales calls, and our websites are light and cheap to run: no WordPress, no paid plugins. The savings go into your price.
What do I need to send you?
Your business name and town, plus an Instagram link if you have one. Later: your services and prices, opening hours and a few photos. We write the rest with you.
What's included in the price?
One payment of $1,490 covers your custom website, hosting for the first 12 months, connecting your domain and a free local SEO audit to get you started. No monthly fees in the first year.
What happens after the first year?
Keep us as your host for $29 a month or $250 a year, with no contract: cancel any time with 30 days' notice. Or move your website to any host you like, and we'll help you set it up for free.
What costs extra?
Changes after launch, extra pages and new features start at $40, always quoted before we start. Online booking ($19 a month or $149 a year), the Google profile fix-up ($249) and monthly local SEO (from $399 a month) are separate.
Can I spread the payment?
Yes. At checkout you can choose to pay in installments with a pay-later provider such as Klarna or Affirm, where available. The installment plan is between you and that provider, and they pay us in full.
What if I already have a domain?
Great, we'll connect it. If you don't have one, we'll show you how to buy one in your name. It's always yours.
Can customers book or send requests?
Yes. Every site has a request form that sends straight to your e-mail. For real online booking with reminders, add Oddie Bookings.
Will it look like the examples?
Only if you want it to. They're starting points: your colors, your photos, your wording and the sections your business needs. Anything more ambitious is quoted before we start.
Do I have to stay with you?
No. There's no contract. After the first year you can host with us month to month or yearly, or take your website anywhere with 30 days' notice. Request forms and Oddie Bookings run on our hosting, so if you move we'll help you switch the form to your new host.

Oddie Studio is part of Black Odix Technologies LLC, a New Jersey company. We focus on local businesses here, but we work with local businesses anywhere in the US.
